Through Joint Resolution No. 201 and 149, issued by the Ministries of Production and Trade, Infrastructure, extending for six (6) months EXTENT OF FREEZING OF RENTS under the resolution dated eighteen (18) May 2004 and published in the Official Gazette No. 37941 dated nineteen (19) May 2004. Notes
the said joint resolution that landlords who violate the same or committing crimes of speculation, usury and other related crimes shall be punished in accordance with the Law for the Defence of the People's Access to Goods and Services, subject to the penalties provided in the Decree with Force of Law on Real Estate Leasing.
This decision came into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette No. 39,295 of twenty-nine (29) October 2009.
